The Nexus S gets it’s first taste of CM9, the ICS based AOSP ROM! ICS ports are all the rage right now, and the team at CyanogenMod went underground to work on their new CM9, thus keeping things a wee bit. Guess what? Koush, the guy who made ClockworkMod recovery and ROM Manager possible, is working on the CM9 project for the Nexus S, and he has released his build to the users for some early testing. The ROM, still in an Alpha stage, is said to be stable enough to be used as a daily driver. Apparently almost everything seems to be working just fine, and if a few bugs do exist, the ROM is in Alpha 11 of its stage, so bear with it if you do want to give it a go. Read More

Editing a photo can be done for many reasons. It can be for professional purposes, for sharing with family and showing off your creative skills, or even just for fun. Whether its simple cropping or adjusting contrast, you’ll need an image editor to do so, and what better if the said editor is available anywhere, as a web app! Recently, I've been playing around with a range of photo editing web apps, and I must say, I'm impressed with their capabilities. Most of these apps let you add filters, frames, create avatars, cartoons, paintings and so much more. Furthermore, you can also work on your photos by using a combinations of these amazing tools. In summary, they provide a more-than-sufficient photo editing experience for the casual photographer. Now, it's my belief that a new contender has a hard time making space for itself in presence of well-established names and brands. With this in mind, I chose to ignore famous photo editing web apps like Picnik and Pixlr, and right after the jump is a run down of 5 of my favorite, lesser-known online image editors. Read More

There are plenty of alternatives available for each type of software and if you want people to use your tool, you should make sure that everything is running smoothly. AppTimer is an application start up time bench marking tool that lets you run an executable file a pre-specified number of times, and check how long it takes for the application to be ready for use after execution. Automatically Attach/Detach MS Outlook PST Files With SmartPST

When configuring an MS Exchange or other mail server account for MS Outlook, one often requires importing PST files (provided the user was not using an OST file). Search And Delete Duplicate Files & Folders On Your System With NoDupe

When downloading content from the internet, it is not unusual that you may have multiple copies of the same item in different memory locations, wasting precious storage space.
