After a successful iPad debut, it seems as if every manufacturer wants to come out with their own touch-tablet for their customers. We have seen names like Dell, Sony, Acer etc all jumping the touch-tablet bandwagon and hence RIM is no exception. Blackberry OS and devices from RIM are still a white-collar favorite regardless of the geographical location.
Recently an anonymous source disclosed Blackberry tablet plans to Betanews which are:
- 7.0 Inch Display Screen [BGR claims it to be 8.9 Inches]
- Marvell 1.0 GHz Armada 610 Processor
- 1080p HD Video Playback capability
- Hardware-based Flash Accelerator
- 5 MP Primary Rear Camera
- VGA Front Camera [Rumored]
- Preloaded With BlackBerry 6 OS
- Bluetooth
- Wi-Fi
- Slide-Out Integrated Keyboard [Rumored]
- 4GB Internal Storage
The specs of this BlackBerry tablet seem to be pretty impressive and if they hold true, then Dell Streak and iPad can counter some tough competition. Please note that these specs are based on rumors and are unconfirmed. They can change/alter once the device is officially released.
