FireShot is a famous Mozilla Firefox extension which allows users to capture, edit, annotate, organize, export, upload and prints screenshots from web pages. Along with, the choice to save images in PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP formats and to upload them to Flickr, Image Shack, Picasa, etc. Now you can get it for Google Chrome too.
Clicking on the Fireshot icon next to the search bar displays all options. From here, users can capture, upload, email, edit, print, save and annotate screenshots. Fireshot has been developed by the creators of the famous ScreenShot Studio software. This extension brings many features of this application that can be used in the supported browsers, including Chrome.
Capturing a screenshot displays even more enhanced options within a user interface. Some of these options include addition of text, shape and drawing tools. Many choices from the drop down menu are also displayed in button form on this interface, (e.g. the Upload button which allows uploading files to a server, Flickr, Picasa, etc).
The extension integrates with browsers to provide efficient management, advanced editing and image sharing options. The screenshots can either be saved in PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP formats or uploaded to Flickr, Picasa, ImageShack, a web server, etc.
