Google had recently announced its entry into the OS market with its Chrome OS. This is confirmed and Google is working on it. A few hours ago some unofficial and suspected Google Chrome OS screenshots have been published on the web.
These images could possibly be the first screenshots of the Chrome OS and one of the screenshot show the version number as Developers beta 0.1.15, showing the early stages of the operating system.
In the screenshots Chrome OS resembles more with Mac OS X than any other operating system. It shows a dock at the top rather than having a taskbar like Microsoft Windows. Dock mainly contains popular Google services like Google desktop and web search function, GMail, Google Chrome Browser, RSS feeds, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Youtube and other unidentified icons.
These screenshots are not official and are not confirmed by any source, but it will certainly make geeks more anxious.
