Are you a PHP/HTML developer who wants to keep developing applications irrespective of the location? Every developer has to upload the files so that he/she can access it from home or any other location, but you won’t have to do it anymore.
PHPAnywhere is a free online service that comes with a real-time syntax code editor that lets you create PHP/HTML applications online without downloading anything at all. It has a build-in FTP explorer, so what does it mean? Instead of having to develop applications and then uploading them using your favorite desktop FTP client, you can now develop and upload your files all from one online destination.

We all know how difficult it can be to first download the file from the server, find and fix the problem in your favorite text editor, and upload it back using FTP tool. But with PHPAnywhere all you have to do is to add your server and start editing the files directly. Note that all connections established are secure and encrypted, so you don’t have to worry about the security.

You can also set the permissions of every file right from within this tool. Just navigate to File/Folder and select Permissions.

It is currently in Beta and is constantly under development based on user feedback. The latest version was launched by the end of June which surprisingly contains quite a useful number of new features, some of them are – Find and replace feature, Displays line numbers, Code auto completion, Displays line numbers, Code indention (TAB key), Additional syntax highlighting, Auto-indentation, Tab states, Alphabetical sorting in server list, New icon set (150 different file types in FTP browser), 14 New Themes, 10 Code editor schemes, and FTP password prompt.
