Your screenshot of Motionbox is very outdated – they have had a new look and feel for a few months now and while their editor (mixer) is mostly about cutting and clipping – they do have other cool features that make many of us prefer it. AVCHD upload and playback, more privacy and permission settings, and a great fast uploader which can take very large files and upload them hassle-free.
