Visiting loads of different websites to find something interesting, such as a new movie, music, book or game, can be quite tiring, and requires a lot of effort. WhatsNextUp is a brand new web app that makes things simpler by letting you find exciting things that are just perfect for you. The content it offers you is based on the things you already like. WhatsNextUp monitors user behavior on sites such as Facebook, and gives users a personalized browsing experience. It brings you the latest movies, music, games and all kinds of other events. You no longer have to jump from one site to the other to find your favorite content.
WhatsNextUp simply uses your Google or Facebook account to log you on. If you choose Google, the app links it with Facebook, as it personalizes your web content using your likes on Facebook. Six main categories are displayed at the top of the page, including home, my events, music, movies, tv, sports, books and games. To the right of the page, you will be able to view a thumbnail of your Facebook display picture, and lets you refresh data from Facebook. Clicking manage likes opens your Facebook Arts and Entertainment page, which includes all your likes that you can either delete or add more.
The manage hidden items section lets you access your entertainment profile. Here, you can view all the events you’ve liked and others that are hidden. At the end of this page, there is also an option for you to manage your Facebook info.
This app is still in beta and currently, categories such as books and games are not functional. Hopefully, these and other features will be improved. WhatsNextUp beautifully customizes the web for you, so give it a try and let us know what you think.
