Do you want to reduce the clutter by removing icons of the non-running applications from the dock? Meet Dockter. It is a new app developed for Mac OS X that reduces the clutter and increases user productivity by removing the icons of those applications from the dock that are not in use. It even removes itself from the dock after doing the job.
It is suitable for those users who love simplicity and want an uncluttered dock. You can also accomplish this task from command line, but wouldn’t it be better if you can do the same task with only 1-click. Docker is a 1-click app that will save you plenty of time and headache. Actually the app simply toggles the hidden preferences in MAC OS X, running it the second time will reverse the settings and all your program icons will be back.
It works on MAC OS X Leopard only. We are not sure if it would also work with Snow Leopard. Enjoy!
