Add Field Of Specific Data Type In Access 2010 Database Table

Access 2010 lets user create new fields in database table with a range of pre-defined data types. Unlike previous version, which requires user to define the data type in detail in design view, Access 2010 requires user to pick up the data type while creating the field in datasheet layout. For adding a field in table, open the table in generic datasheet view, click on default field title ‘Click to Add’ and specify data type of field.
