Changing cell colors in Excel 2010 is very easy, as you can change it via Font Color options which is present right up front. But through Cycle Font Color, you don’t need to change it over and over again to find the best color that suits your datasheet. Through this feature you can change color of cells repetitively through multiple clicks for choosing the appropriate one.
By default this feature is hidden, to make it apparent navigate to Quick Access Toolbar options and click More Commands.
It will bring-up Excel Options dialog, under Choose commands, click drop-down button to select All Commands. Now scroll-down to find Cycle Font Colors command and click Add >> to show it in Quick Access toolbar. Hit OK to continue.
To test it, open Excel 2010 spreadsheet and select the dataset range for which you want to use this feature. Now repetitively click Cycle Font Color button in Quick Access toolbar.
It will start changing font color upon each click. In this way you can choose an appropriate color that best suits your spreadsheet.
