In Outlook 2010, Rules helps in organizing and managing different kind of actions in a way you want. If you’ve applied many rules on incoming/outgoing mails then it would be great to export them in order to use them on other systems or to keep them safe for future.
To export the applied rules, click on File menu to bring up Info backstage view. Now click Manage Rules & Alerts.
This will bring up Rules & Alerts dialog, now click Options.
Under Options dialog, click Export Rules and specify the location where you need to export the rules.
