From the author of NCQucikDismiss, an iOS 5 jailbreak tweak that lets you quickly dismiss the Notification Center and notification banners, comes a similar iOS 5 Cydia tweak called ClearLockNotifications. If you have a lock screen that remains cluttered with notifications of all kinds and do not particularly like to keep a few notifications alive and remove a few, this tweak is meant for you. You can now clear all your lock screen notifications simply with the tap of one button.
The tweak adds a slider button to the lock screen, tapping which reveals a small X button on its right. Hit the X button and all lock screen notifications will be cleared. The tweak clears out all the notifications at once, without giving you a choice over which notifications you want to clear. Hopefully, the option will added to the tweak in future updates, but for now, you’ll have to make peace with this.
As stated earlier, you need a jailbroken iOS 5 device to install this tweak. ClearLockNotifications is available in the BigBoss repository in Cydia, though you can also use the Search tab to look for it. Once the tweak is installed, Cydia will ask you to restart the Springboard. The tweak will start working after you’ve done so. You won’t find any option to configure (enable/disable) the tweak in the Settings menu. If you don’t like what you see, you will have to uninstall it from within Cydia.
