A newer iTunes wasn’t really expected from the ongoing Apple media event but surprisingly, Apple has announced iTunes 10 with Ping. The iTunes 10 is pretty intriguing for all those who like to communicate their media likes, dislikes etc to their peers and social circle. The all new iTunes 10 is geared with social music discovery, Ping, which will allow users to share and discover music from 160 million other iTunes users located in 23 different countries.
With this new iTunes, you will be able to create a circle of friends and you will be able to share your music, favorite videos etc. You can also shout out your opinion over media items through opinion posting facility within the iTunes framework.

Although iTunes 10 looks a fantastic treat from Apple, but we will advise jailbreakers against syncing their iPhone with this version of iTunes. We hope that soon Dev Team will declare the status of this application so hold on till that time. We will update this post once we get any word from iPhone hacking community.
