iOS 4.1 Gold Master (GM) is now available for download. You can get your copy of iOS 4.1 GM if you are registered with iPhone Developer and/or enterprise program.

Beta versions 1 and 2 of iOS 4.1 GM were released earlier in July but this version is final. If you are a regular iPhone user then it is advised to wait for public iOS 4.1 release. In case you manage to get a copy for iOS 4.1 GM, then only restore if you are sure you don’t need unlocking or jailbreak immediately.
