Apple has released a new iTunes version 9.2.1 and this new version is available for download for both, Mac and Windows. According to Apple, this is a stable and bug-free release that will enhance the performance of the software.

Addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
Addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
