This is what Google has to say about Google Movies:

Official video player for Android Market movie rentals.

Select from thousands of movie titles in Android Market and begin watching instantly — no wires, no syncing, no hassle! Pin movie rentals to your tablet so you can watch them even when you’re not connected. Also get quick access to your personal video collection, including those you’ve taken yourself using your tablet camera.

Although the app is really cool and must have if you are a Motorola XOOM owner, but there are some issues that Droid Life has pointed out. According to them, they tried renting a movie but ended up with a sever error. This might be rare case but simple observation of User Reviews also suggest that this app is creating same problems for some Motorola XOOM users.

In order to install Google Videos on your Motorola XOOM, simply launch Android Market and then search for Google Videos. Tap on the first search result to install the application and then tap on Open after the installation is complete. Now you are on your own to search this huge movie and videos database but keep your CC handy if you want to rent out the content.
