Music is an integral part of many people’s daily lives. And your phone is your constant companion which is always with you and lets you enjoy the music of your choice on the go. It is a common sight today to see a person walking down a road with headphones plugged into their ears. Samsung Omnia 7 is a Windows Phone 7 device which comes with pretty good acoustic properties. And that’s why you can really enjoy it’s headphones. But if you feel that there’s still room for improvement, you can increase the headphone volume of this device using the procedure described below!
The fix has been proposed on XDA forums by senior member Cerato, and here’s how it goes.

Instructions:
- First and foremost make sure that your headphones are attached to your phone, as the fix won’t work otherwise.
- Access the diagnosis mode by dialing ##634# from your phone.
- Input *#0002*28345# in the diagnosis screen.
- Navigate to “Device Gain (max/min)” and hit the Get button next to it.
- In the 3 fields, enter these values respectively
5, 1100 and –1100 - Hit Set.
- Tap on the Start button at the bottom of the app, and you are done.
After restarting your phone you will feel a noticeable increase in your phone’s headphone volume.
