There is some good news for iPhone 3GS owners [Old Bootrom] because now you can jailbreak your iPhone 3GS with PwnageTool 4 or Sn0wbreeze 1.6.2 even if you have previously jailbroken your device with Spirit jailbreak.
Here is the step by step guide on how to make your iPhone 3GS jailbreak-able through Sn0wbreeze and PwnageTool.
- The first step is to make sure that your iPhone 3GS has old Bootrom and is previously jailbroken using Spirit jailbreak. You can check Bootrom version by this method.
- Once you have the Bootrom version confirmed, launch Cydia on your iPhone 3GS.
- Now press manage and tap on Source.
- Now tap on “Add New Source” and enter the following URL repo: http://repo.woowiz.net
- Now search for “spirit2pwn” in Cyida and tap on Spirit2pwn.
- Now press “install” on top right corner of the display and wait for the installation to finish.
