HTC T8788 Specs And Price

As Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS is nearing its launch, we can see a number of devices sprouting up from all directions. Considering HTC’s history of being a long-time Microsoft hardware partner and manufacturing nearly all the Windows Mobile devices in the past, it only makes sense to see most of these devices being from HTC. The latest one in the regard is the all new leaked HTC T8788 Windows Phone, which is bound for AT & T after release.

The most unique factor of this handset is perhaps the dual slider, which exhibits speakers along with QWERTY keypad at opposite sliding ends. Here are the rumored specs of HTC T8788:

  • Windows 7 OS
  • Rumored 1.0 GHz Processor
  • Bluetooth
  • Wi-Fi
  • Slider Speaker Panel [The Wow Factor]
  • Dual Slider With Speaker On One End And QWERTY Keypad On The Other.
  • GPS
  • Dedicated Windows, Search And Back Keys
  • Primary 5 Mega Pixel Camera With Flash [Rumored]
As you can see from the image, the phone seems to sport a very solid-looking build as expected from HTC, along with industrial design elements as seen on the slide-out speaker grill. The T8788 is joining quite a handful of other Windows Phone devices by HTC upon launch of this latest smartphone platform by Microsoft.

If these specs stand to be true, this Windows phone can be termed as a powerful media Smartphone. There is no official word on the specs or the price but we can speculate this one to sell at $ 200 with a bi-annual contract from AT & T. Please note that these specs, features and in some cases, name of the handset are based on leaked and unconfirmed information. These specs and features can change once the device is officially launched.
