CM7 Simplicity is a Gingerbread ROM for the HTC Desire HD that is based on the latest nightly releases of our favorite custom Android ROM – CyanogenMod. To find out what it has to offer in addition to the default CyanogenMod 7 nightly builds and for the complete installation instructions, read on.
CM7 Simplicity has been released last night by XDA-Developers forum member mavrich who took the latest Android 3.0 Gingerbread based CyangeonMod 7 nightly build and did a few modifications to it to make it simpler while adding a few apps as well.
New apps that have been added include the latest Google Apps, Facebook and Twitter as well as Flow Live wallpaper. The modifications include replacing the CyanogenMod 7 Torch with HTC Flashlight and the default Messaging app with EMOJI Messaging that includes several emoticons.

To install this ROM to your HTC Desire HD:
- Root your phone if you haven’t done so already.
- Install ClockworkMod Recovery on your phone if it isn’t already installed.
- Download the ROM from the link given below and flash it to your phone from recovery after taking a nandroid backup and wiping data, cache & Dalvik cache.
- Reboot your phone.
