We recently featured Android 2.2 FroYo based Warm TwoPointTwo ROM for the HTC EVO 4G, followed by WarmBlood Red Theme for the same device. It looks as if there’s no end to Warm themes being released or modified for the popular HTC Android device, as there has been another addition to the list. Now, we are bringing you Frosted Warm TwoPointTwo theme by MadDogMaddux for the same popular ROM, to ‘cool it down a bit’ in the developer’s words.
In this theme, the developer has added quite a lot of translucent white and ended up with a notification bar that fades from translucent to white and from black to white in case of some apps, producing a stunning result. This theme is intended for the RLS5 version of the ROM and removes GPS and Clock from the notification bar. If you like smooth rounded corners and elegantly blending whites, blacks and grays, this may be just the right theme for you! Here are some more screenshots for your viewing pleasure.
As you can see, this theme really stands out in terms of looks, and it is obvious that plenty of hard work went into it. Too bad it is limited to the Warm TwoPointTwo custom ROM by Myn. However, we just might end up seeing ports being made by the developer community for other ROMs (or possibly even other devices) soon, who knows?
To install this ROM to your phone, you must first be using Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo ROM on your device. You can install this theme by downloading it from the link given below, copying it to the root of your SD card and flashing it from recovery. In case it doesn’t work, try flashing again after wiping cache and dalvik cache. If there are still problems, refer to the XDA forum link given below.
