iOS 4.2 For iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch will be released for this November for public consumption. The announcement of this Firmware build was made in the Apple Music event that took place yesterday. The event also announced iOS 4.1 for iPhone that is more of a fixer than packaged with new features. The iOS 4.2 will finally help combine the firmware versions of iPad and iPhone which wasn’t available until now.
Here are some of the key features of iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad:
- Folders –To Stack Apps Neatly On Your iDevice
- Wireless Printing –Push Photos For Priniting Right From Your iDevice
- AirPlay –The feature that will allow users to stream music, videos, podcasts and other media form over Wi-Fi connection.
Other than these features, we are also expecting a whole new version of Game Center to be packed within this iOS update release. The most plausible aspect of iOS 4.2 is perhaps it’s across-board compatibility with all three iDevices; iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
