LinkedIn For Android Released To The Market

LinkedIn For Android

Join in with over 100 million users in the biggest professional network on the web from your Android device. The official LinkedIn app for Android just went from beta to version 1.0, hitting the Android Market a few hours ago. The app allows users to view updates and messages in real-time, search for professionals across the entire network, keep in touch with direct connections, accept invitations and view/accept suggestions for new connections via the Reconnect feature, all via a user interface that is simple to use yet easy on the eyes.

Still, it seems there is quite a room for improvement. For instance, as of this writing, the app does not support Apps2SD and contact sync. Too early to fret, though. LinkedIn has promised additional features in future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be looking at a comprehensive LinkedIn client for Android in a few months time.
