Motorola Droid X has so far been anticipated as the top of the line device by Motorola for Verizon’s immensely popular Droid line of Android devices. If we are to pick one phone that has popularized Android most and brought the attention of the mainstream crowd to it (at least in the US), it has got to be the original Motorola Droid. While ‘Droid’ is a trademark of Verizon wireless for its line of Android phones, the term has become synonymous with Android devices in the USA amongst the general public to the extent that many people (incorrectly) refer to all Android phones as ‘Droids’. Therefore, anticipation for the latest and greatest device so far in this series has GOT to be high, no doubt about that.
