If the name does ring a bell with you, and you happen to own an iOS, Android or Windows Phone 7 device, then here’s some good news for you. The official app for MSN Autos is now available for all three mobile platforms. The MSN Autos client offers a comprehensive set of features, including search of new and used cars by make/model, category and favorites, slideshows of latest cars in the market, and articles/blogs pertaining to them.
MSN Autos offers a run-of-the-mill user interface wherein you can search for cars either by make/model, or choose among various criterion (fuel type, horsepower, drive, fuel economy etc) offered by the app to narrow down your search. The app also offers some custom categories to help you look for cars. The recent news & videos lets you view the latest articles about what’s hot in the automotive industry.
In addition, the app offers slideshows of cars featured in an article. You can launch the slideshow by tapping any picture within the article or the see all option under recent news & videos. MSN Autos displays a thorough set of details pertaining to to each car including its specs, photos and its market competitors along with the option to mark it as favorite.
