Google Play Store is filled with too many games and apps, but only a few make it to the top our ‘hot favorites’ list. And then those that make it to the top, doesn’t stay there long enough. But we have discovered a new game that might be an exception. Developed by ECAPYC software, One Touch Drawing is a free puzzler released for Android, while initially only available on iOS as a paid app. In this easy to play but hard to master game, you will need to draw varying patterns in a single try, without letting your finger off the screen or overwriting. In short, you need to sketch a one-touch drawing. The gameplay may remind you of those childhood memories when you’d keep drawing endless patterns without overwriting on a piece of paper. So if you’re ready bring back those precious memories, One Touch Drawing might help you out. More details after the jump.
Considering its simple nature, the game has a satisfactory and pleasing design. There are a total of 100 levels to play (yup! one hundred), which are more than enough to keep you busy for quite some time. It’s disappointing to find no presence of any music in the game other than the cheering sound effects that you hear after completing a level, as music is one of the fundamental parts of games these days.
Enough with the cosmetics already, now let’s talk about the gameplay. As mentioned earlier in the post, the player needs to draw distinct shapes in a single gesture and that’s where lies hard to master part. The lines are basically connected to each other with small nodes, and you need to fill in the lines by connecting these nodes. A successful joint is highlighting blue, letting you know which lines have already been completed, so you may consider your next move. A meticulously solved puzzles presents you with Stage Clear! message and you can move to the next level.
We absolutely loved the idea behind its gameplay, though its not unique, it highly addictive. Some levels take can take considerable amount of time to complete and the game has enough puzzles to keep you engage for quite long.
Overall, One Touch Drawing is a nice little game, and the good news is, it’s available for free on the Google Play Store, unlike its iOS counterpart. You can grab the game via the QR code or download link provided below.
