Pixable For iPhone/ iPad: Facebook Photos & Videos Arranged Into Feeds

Facebook is, as yet, the unchallenged king of social networking. There is Twitter, of course, but what sets FB apart? It’s the media-rich features of the network. The ease with which you can share photos and videos makes Facebook the number one social stop for millions of people. But if you have lots of friends added to your profile, it might be confusing and tedious to keep track of all the photos your friends are currently uploading or discussing (especially with the new update). Pixable for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch displays all photos and videos from your Facebook feed after neatly categorizing them. Not just that, it even lets you browse public Facebook photos by category right from within your iDevice.

PixableTutorial

This iOS app is perfect for Facebook users who are on Facebook for the pictures. To get you started, the app gives you a tutorial of all its features, which you can choose to skip if you want. No separate Pixable account is required to use the app, you just need to link your Facebook account with it and then allow the app to pull information from your profile.

CategoriesTop-of-the-Week

In My Feeds, the pictures are categorized on the basis of multiple criteria. You can view top photos from the day or week (which means the most liked or discussed photos). While you are in a particular album, viewing a photo, you can watch the rest of the photos in the album by swiping up and down, while swiping from side to side will display other related content. Pixable also shows you the latest updates (photo related) from your friends. A badge displays the changes each category has undergone since you last logged in. There is also the option to manage your own pics from within the app.

Own PixsPublic

The friends sections brings a Twitter-like “Follow” feature to Pixable. If you follow a friend, a whole new category will be added about him or her on the Feeds page. The app supports push notifications to keep you up to date with your friends’ activity on the go. But wait, there ‘s more. As mentioned earlier, Pixable allows you to view public photos from various Facebook users and pages. This stream of photos can be found in the Everyone tab.

Pixable is a free app and can be found at the download link given below.
