Finally there is some exciting news for Korean Samsung Galaxy S Fans because a Galaxy S variant : Glalaxy K will soon be available on SKT. The device has some key differences from Galaxy S, despite being similar in many ways. The Samsung Galaxy K Specs Are:

- Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS (2 times faster than Android 2.1 Eclair on Galaxy S)

This device is almost same as Galaxy S with a slight physical change of casing and 3.7-inch display over 4-inch display. A key benefit is the faster 1.2 GHz processor compared to the 1 GHz on the Galaxy S. Also, the relatively smaller screen size compared to that of the Galaxy S, means a higher pixel density on Galaxy K, considering both devices have the same resolution.
In addition to having a faster processor, it is also the first Galaxy device to ship with Android 2.2 Froyo, which includes several improvements and performance enhancements over Android 2.1 Eclair, making Galaxy K even faster.
The Samsung Galaxy K is set to hit SKT this September and the price tag might be same as Samsung Galaxy S retail price.
