Did You Upgrade Or Perform A Fresh Install Of Windows 7?

There are many users who are having trouble with Windows 7. Upon further research I found that 9 out of every 10 users who are complaining in forums and elsewhere are those who have upgraded their Windows from XP or Vista. The trouble is mostly around commonly used apps.

This makes me wonder if there is something wrong with upgrading. I am no Operating System expert, but these problems shouldn’t be occurring in the first place. I am starting a poll below to better understand my readers and at the same time to check if they are having trouble with common apps or not.

Note that if you have a detailed explanation of any trouble that is occurring, feel free to comment. We would do my best to help you out. Enjoy!

NO problems. I have been running 7RC as dual boot and kept all apps on a third partition. The install manager told me what apps would have a problem and told me what to disable. A dream so far.

I've received pre-ordered Windows 7, but haven't installed it so far. I admit that as a way of life I trend to take my time and, consequently but not as an aim, let the dirty work (that of testing in real life) be done by others…
Moreover, uno: running XP I'll have to proceed to a clean install, secundo: I need a more powerful computer (and my wallet is a soldier!). Year 2010 though is bound to big changes here :)
