    • Sadly, there are few Live Writer alternatives available regardless of the platform, and none of the available ones come close to the experience offered by Live Writer itself. It’ll be a pity to see it go, but it should continue working at least on Windows 8 even after MS discontinue it, since it isn’t really tied to any of Microsoft’s own online services.
