If you have to copy the contents of a large number of text files, opening each file separately, selecting the required text, and then copying it to the new file adds up to quite a lot of steps for something that is very simple in nature. We have covered quite a few Windows shell extensions that allow you to perform time consuming tasks in a quick and simple way. There are thousands of tools and extensions available on the internet that allow you to simplify complex and time taking functions. Today, we have another right-click context menu extension called Copy Text Contents, which lets you copy the contents of text files to clipboard from right-click menu without having to open the file. You may already know that Windows does not show you the complete path of a folder or file, and if you need the complete path, you need to click the Windows Explorer address bar or open folder/file properties to copy the complete path. Wouldn't it be better if you could copy the complete path of folder and file from right-click context menu? Copy Path to Clipboard provides you with just that. It is an application for Windows that allows you to not only copy the Full Path and the Filename, but also Relative Path, URL Path, Parent Folder Path and the UNC Path of selected files and folders, all from the Windows right-click context menu. Create, Access, Delete & Mount Shadow Copies On Any Windows Version With Z-VSSCopy

For those who are unfamiliar with the terms Shadow Copy or VSS (Volume Snapshot Service), it is a technology included in Microsoft Windows. What it does is it automatically creates backups of your data, with an option to lets you do so manually. Both Windows Vista and Windows 7 can create copies of your files and folders, which allows you to retrieve the previous versions in case they are accidentally deleted, modified or manipulated in one way or the other. In computers running Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems, this service is active by default. Microsoft has only included the privilege of accessing shadow copies in Windows Ultimate, Business and Enterprise edition, leaving other editions of the OS to dust. Back in January, I reviewed an application for Windows called Shadow Explorer. It is a tool that allows Windows Home version users to access shadow copies according to time filters, and provides a unified interface to explore and export them. Today, I have a similar application for users of Windows 7 editions who need a third party solution. Clipboard managers aren’t hard to find, and they are extremely useful since they let you get a whole lot more out of your default clipboard. If you’ve transitioned to Mac from a Windows PC, you will probably have figured out that Finder is to Mac what Windows Explorer is to Windows. You will also find that there are some options from the right-click context menu of a file that were there on your Windows PC, but are missing in Finder. Even if you’re a long time Mac user, some commands like moving or copying a file, finding the file path, viewing hidden items etc, are some actions that you could do with having in the right-click context menu.
