A lot of Windows Phone 7 devices come with cameras that have the ability to give you high resolution and good quality pictures. This well-built app isn't just about sharing. There are some other really cool features too, like saving images to the cloud for safekeeping, and categorizing them into neat categories (a task that is next to impossible in the stock Pictures hub in Windows Phone 7). MOLOME – The Symbian Instagram, Hits The Android Market [Review]

Symbian’s new photo styling and sharing spearhead, MOLOME, after enjoying much acclaim in the Ovi Store, has decided to take its chances with Android. The app is now available for free from the Android Market. Barring a few essential but minor UI alterations, the developers don’t seem to have changed much in the Android variant of the app. Often termed the Instagram for Symbian, the app is very much like the mentioned iOS photo sharing giant. You sign in to your MOLOME account, view, “Love” and comment on photos in the public timeline, follow and interact with other “Molians”, view your MOLOME profile, snap photos, apply one of 19 available filters to each and share it to your MOLOME wall and/or social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter). Lightbox For Android Lets You Capture Photos, Apply Filters & Sync With Web

We finally received our private beta key for Lightbox for Android yesterday and because we’re a little late to the party, here’s a comprehensive, screenshot-abundant hands-on review of the alleged future head honcho of mobile camera apps. Create And Share Panoramic Photos With 360 For Android

The app stores of the top three smartphone platforms - Android, iOs & WP7 - are saturated with numerous photography apps, and the Android Market is simply no exception in this regard. Ranging from simple camera replacement apps to those filled with various photo effects and filters, you can scour the app store of Google's mobile operating system to find a solution that fulfills your photography needs. New to the Android Market, 360 is yet another commendable tool for casual photography enthusiasts. The app lets you capture HD panoramic photographs with your Android device and share them with your social media (Facebook, Twitter) contacts and other 360 users, complete with geotagging. You can also view panoramas uploaded by 360 users from all around the globe or those in your vicinity from within the app. In all, it's a nifty little photography app that merges the concept of panoramic photo capturing with social photo sharing. Just a word of caution for our readers, in our brief test-run, we found the method for capturing panoramas to be taxing yet rewarding. It takes quite a lot of time and patience to capture a flawless panorama but the result is usually well worth the effort, quite satisfying and a treat to view. Read More

SocialCamera For Android – Tag Photos Of Friends Faster With Face Recognition

There aren’t many apps on the Android Market that allow you to tag your friends or phone contacts in photos before sharing them over the web, and none that do so automatically via facial recognition. None except Viewdle’s SocialCamera, the mobile counterpart of ViewdleUploader for Windows 7. SocialCamera is a free photo-sharing app for Android that syncs with your phone, Email, Flickr, Facebook & Twitter contacts, allowing you tag them in the photos that you choose to share, while providing you with tag suggestions using face recognition. The more you tag your photos, the more accurate the suggestions get. Still in beta as of this writing, the app is yet to include the option to tag Twitter contacts. However, said feature will soon be included in a future update. More after the break. Read More

min.us Gets Desktop And Android App For Quick File Sharing

Last year, Aatif reviewed an impeccable web application called min.us, which takes a very fresh approach to the concept of sharing photos with family and friends. min.us, at that time, let anyone upload and share images via drag & drop while allowing others to view, share and upload on the website without having to sign up for an account. Recently min.us project developer updated us about some freshly-baked additions. Out of all the improvements it now has to offer, its desktop utility for Windows, Mac, and Linux is the most significant. To top that, Android users can also download an app from the market. Talking about the new features, you can now share anything including music, images, videos, and documents, while image galleries can be organized and maintained as well. You can add description to photo gallery, caption images, and have one dedicated gallery URL for quick access. In this post, we will be bringing min.us desktop app for Windows into limelight. Min.us Is A Fresh Approach To Online Photo Sharing

From online photo sharing services like Flickr and Shutterfly to Facebook and Picasa Web Albums, showing-off your creativity has never been easier. However, despite differences in their offerings, all these websites have one thing in common: the approach to using them. To use any of these free services, you need to sign-up with them, go through the process of uploading photos to your account and finally, share them with the people you know so that they can view (or comment, in some cases) on them. This can be a long procedure and some people need a faster way to share photos. While a lot of services exist that cater to this need, few turn out as impressive and functional as my personal favorite in that area, a fresh entrant labelled Minus (yes, the subtraction sign, literally!)
