You probably have your one favorite media player that you use for both audio and video files. If you’re a Mac user, that media player might just be iTunes or QuickTime. Both are exceptional, feature-rich apps, but imagine getting bit by a radioactive spider, sprouting an extra pair of eyes and being able to watch four videos at once. Even if that doesn’t happen, you might feel you need to watch several videos at once either for research or educational purposes (or, perhaps, just because you can). QTSpaces
is a free Mac app built for just such purposes. It allows you to play four videos at once, switch to single video view, create playlists, and switch to fullscreen mode with each four of the videos taking up a quarter of the screen.
Icons allow you to easily differentiate file types and applications from each other by giving you a different visual for every application. Changing file icons through changing the theme is always risky, since it might modify some important and sensitive Windows' files, which can result in some system file getting corrupted. Usually, people keep the default theme offered by Windows and do not make a lot of change to the visuals, but other like to customize every aspect of their operating system in order to have a more personalized feel. If you are one of those people who regularly change their themes and icon packs, but are not satisfied with some of the icons, give Thumbico
a try. It is a portable application that lets you view thumbnails of any file, image, document, video or application in your computer, and extract their icons. You can use it to experiment with icons using features like resizing and converting to use the ones that fit both your mood and the application. Keep reading to find out more about Thumbico.

One of the things enthrall graphics designers the most, is the perfect combination and blend of colors. For this very reason, HEX and RGB values of colors help them out. Inputting a determined HEX color value is easier a job instead of manual adjusting the colors. In addition, HEX values make it lucid to import and export color palettes between various tools. We have covered tools to help you extract HEX and RGB values of colors from images, for instance, both Pictures to Color
and Color Finder
provide HEX value extraction and a lot more. However, if you want a simplified solution and only require to find the values of a random color, give ColorToy
a try. It is a portable application that allows you to select and preview a color by defining its RGB values in Floating Point, RGB or HTML syntax, or through separate sliders for each. Once the required color is selected, ColorToy enables you to view formatted results of the value of colors in Floating Point, Decimal, RGB, HEX, Delphi, C++ Builder etc, form. You can copy any value to clipboard by simply clicking it from the list. More details to follow after the break.

It is an open source browser and viewer for VRML, X3D and other 3D model formats.
