Read past the jump for details.
It comes packed with two main features that define the functionality of the application, first is its Actions tab (where you can assign custom hotkey combinations to text items) and secondly, it provides Clipboard history, which auto-saves text that you copy to clipboard. You can add as many custom text shortcuts as you want, and to add a new clipboard shortcut, click Actions tab (if not already selected) and then click Add button at the bottom left to open Add action window.
Here, you can enter the name of text block (for identification) as well as actual Clipboard text. Once done, create the hotkey combination. You may also select Emulate Control + V and Emulate Shift + Insert options. Once done, click OK to associate the hotkey with clipboard text. In case, you need to alter the text clipboard or hotkey, you can do so using the Edit and Delete button, respectively.
Clipboard history contains all the saved text blocks that can be anything ranging from URLs and emails to names or contact numbers. In order to use the saved clipboard item, just double-click the required item from the list, and the application will move it to the Windows clipboard, letting you paste it in any application window. You can, however, delete any selected text line if you want by clicking Delete selected button.
The application’s Options tab houses a few generic settings, such as enabling Start automatically (to automate application for Windows Log on) and Always start in system tray only. In addition, it lets you Export and Import Actions and Clipboard history.
AgataSoft Clipboard Manager is available for free and works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Testing was carried out on Windows 7, 64-bit OS edition.
