UAC can always be disabled, here you go. http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-turn-off-user-account-control-uac-in-windows-vista/

Similar option in Windows 7.

Nice program, Just wish i could use it without UAC nagging about it.

This program is great for Laptops, when i go to library or other public places..
I just wish i didn't get UAC nags everytime system starts *windows7*

I use this with a program called OSD Mute, that displays the word MUTE on screen simular to a TV's Mute.
be nice if this program had some sort of Mute reminder that way i would only have to deal with one UAC nag.

Answer to first question: I thought about it too but most people forget to turn off their sounds, happens with me too sometimes.

Answer to second question: Yes Windows have the ability to disable the sound from the system tray(if icon is enabled), so no need to go to Control Panel.
