Among the flood of freely available backup tools Bart is yet another one but is far simpler than most and may be worth your while. So what exactly does it do. It backs up files and folders to secondary location. Incredibly handy if one has important photos they wish to keep in sync on another partition or external drive.
A single window interface provides all the options a simple user would need. While more tech savvy programmers may prefer using command lines, regular users can do just as well with all the main functionality found right up front.
Hit the New button, select your source and destination folders, click OK and run which ever tasks you like. No messy repository options or endless configuration. That being said those who prefer detailed customization might wish to look elsewhere.
The command line options may be limited but this makes for easy scripting and automation, specially to run backups on a regular schedule. The app is portable and weights only 51k in size.
