Tiny Burner is a portable data burning software which supports a large array of disc formats. What makes Tiny Burner useful is that it supports a large array of hardware burners and optical discs including CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R/+R DL, DVD+R/RW, BD-R/RE, BD-R/RE DL, HD-DVD-R/RW and even DVD-RAM. With Tiny Burner, you can burn Data on a CD, DVD and even Blu-ray disc, without installing different standalone burners. This makes Tiny Burner a viable alternative to many paid software burners such as Nero, with added advantage of portability. Tiny Burner indeed lives up to its name, as it is not a resource hogging software. During testing we experienced little CPU and memory usage.
Just launch Tiny Burner and select file(s) and folder(s) to burn via right-click context menu. You can arrange files by size, list and details for your convenience.
Files can also be added by dragging a file or folder over the Drop Target, which remains visible for adding data via drag and drop.
Once you have added the required data, click on Burn from the toolbar on the main interface or the system tray. You can also hide Drop target, load/eject disc and acquire disc info from the system tray menu.
Advanced options can be accessed from the from the Tools menu. The General tab allows ejecting CD/DVD after burning, applying underrun protection and selecting the default location for temporary files (which the burner uses during the burning process). Whereas, the Burn tab can be used to set project title.
The View tab provides visibility options such as enabling disabling the Drop target and changing its color and transparency levels.
Tiny Burner is a useful alternative to many paid and free software which provide limited support for burning data on different kind of discs.
It works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
