Contact Contacts is a portable contact manager which allows creating convenient categories to easily store and sort your contacts. It allows adding in-depth details such as name, mailing address, email address, phone numbers, etc. This ensures that you are able to create a proper contact list of your friends, family and co-workers with all required information. It’s portability means that you can take your contacts list anywhere. Added contacts can be exported and later imported as a CSV file. It also allows specifying a mail server and mobile service provider for sending sms and emails in bulk. The password protection feature provides security of saved contacts with 256-bit AES encryption.
To get started, click Add button from the left hand side menu and create a category (e.g. work).
You can add contacts to the created categories from the Add button (located on the middle of the interface, next to View/Modify button). Detailed information such as name, phone numbers, address and email address of a contact can be added to one or more categories. Created contacts can be later removed, edited or exported from the respective options on the main interface. To quickly search a contact, type name, surname, nickname, email address, etc in the search bar on top and click Search.
You can password protect your contacts from Settings. A mobile service provider and mail server can be specified for sending SMS and emails in bulk. Note: SMS charges may apply according to the rules and regulations of your mobile service provider.
To send email(s) or SMS, select a contact name and click Contact from the main interface. Write in your message and service provider information of the recipient (in case of an SMS) and Click Send. When sending emails, you can also attach files. To send files in bulk, select multiple recipients from your contact list.
Although, Contact Contacts is a pretty useful app, it would have been better if it also provided synchronization with Google Contacts. It works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
