Titled Printing, which is sometimes also known as Rasterbating is a procedure in which images are printed larger than a standard page. The program overlays a grid on the printed image in which each cell (or tile) is the size of a printed page and then prints each tile. A person can then arrange the tiles to reconstruct the full image. (source: Wikipedia) Rasterbating is hugely popular and looks much more attractive than a single huge poster. If you are looking to paste a poster in your dorm room, office, or living room, think again. Your printer is capable of printing resterized images from any picture, all you need is The Rasterbator.
All you need to do is select the picture from which you want to create resterized images, select the paper size, define the output size (output image size and number of sheets), and tweak some options (we would recommend changing the color mode to Multi-color, otherwise you will get the output in black & white).
The output will be saved in PDF format. Print all pages and arrange them in correct order. Congrats, you just made your own poster!
Extra Notes: You can also create resterized images online but the features are limited. It is recommended to download the desktop tool.
