Agreed. At least I can confirm it as a Windows Vista user. Let’s say Windows can hardly find a half of all drivers updates.

Not really. Windows Update failed to find driver updates for most hardware devices connected to my computer and Device Doctor did a good job in finding the update for me. Windows doesn’t find all driver updates.

“Windows is not so good at finding driver updates and when users start migrating to Windows 7 finding the right driver will become quite a challenge. In most cases Windows will search for drivers and give up after some time, thus showing “Unknown Device” prompt.”

This app is new to me. From free similar programs I used Driver MAX and RadarSync and was disappointed with both and finally got Uniblue Driver Scanner which suits me fine.
I’ll check this new app when I have more spare time. Thanks for sharing.
