Do you have multiple monitors setup and want to add a taskbar in all monitors? As default the taskbar is only included in the primary monitor, but if you want to add it in other monitors too, then look no further than Oscar’s Multi-Monitor Taskbar.
Suppose you have dual monitor setup, you will notice that the taskbar is only in the primary monitor, the second monitor has nothing, also you will notice that all windows are displayed on the primary monitor’s taskbar regardless on which monitor they are opened(see screenshot below).
Once you have installed this software you will notice that the second Task bar is added to the extended monitor and it displays item from that monitor while primary taskbar displays items from the primary window(see screenshot below).
It adds second taskbar to the extended desktop monitor, but if you have three monitor setup then it will add a third taskbar to the second extended monitor. Note that in dual monitor setup the primary monitor should be on left, and in three monitor setup, the primary monitor should be in the middle.
The free version of this software has basic features, but if you want a pro version which has better handling in moving windows across screens with different resolutions, has support for dual monitors if the primary monitor is on right, and has a more consistent behavior of taskbar then it is going to cost 28 US Dollars for lifetime license. Both versions support Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Enjoy !
