Download Facebook Photos

PhotoGrabber is a dead-simple portable tool that can quickly download all your photo albums and all photos where you have been tagged. Suppose there are 100 photos out there in various friend’s albums where you are tagged, this tool will download them all.

This tool is capable of downloading only the photos in your album and those photos where you have been tagged, it does not download photos from friend’s albums. For this purpose you can try out FacePAD Add-on for Firefox.

Now back to this tool. You first need to select the output destination where the photos will be saved, then login to your facebook account(this will open your default browser and you will have to give permission to this app), and finally hit the Begin download button.

Both Windows and Mac versions are available. Sadly, Linux is not supported at the moment. Enjoy!

Hey thanks for writing about my program! A few clarifications:

    1) It does download pictures from friends' albums. However, depending on their privacy settings, the program may not be able to get them. If the album is publicly visible and you're tagged in it, then PhotoGrabber will be able to download it.

    2) It is available for linux (although not well documented)! I just added instructions on how to use it on linux here: http://code.google.com/p/photograbber/wiki/Linux
