We do a lot of things every day with our computer, we compose documents, make presentations, download data, watch movies, and much more. In doing all these tasks we often make shortcuts for our convenience, especially on the desktop. As we move our files around from one location to another, we can end up having broken shortcuts and no memory of the destination of the original file. Broken Shortcut Fixer helps you delete and repair all broken shortcuts in your system.
Just select the drive that you wish to scan and click the Scan Shortcuts button. It will automatically repair your broken shortcuts. You can also choose to click the Delete broken Shortcuts Button to delete the broken shortcuts that you wish to remove.
It can be a convenient tool for users who have a habit of making a lot of shortcuts and find it difficult to find the destination of the files/software, as they move their files around on a PC. However, it is worth mentioning here that this software does not show any prompt of the number of broken shortcuts that it has successfully repaired.
This freeware works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. We tested it on our Windows 7 64-bit system.
