Get Complete Control Over Internet Explorer
IEController is a free tool that allows users to control every aspect of Internet Explorer browser, including the execution of ActiveX Controls.
It is a tool for advanced users only, if you are a beginner who is looking to tweak IE then you must understand the concept of ActiveX, and how programs are controlled before giving this tool a try.
There are tabs for ActiveX, Programs, Files, Internet, Privacy, and more. You can select the programs, files, and internet servers that are allowed for the controlled application. You can also prevent it from writing to registry, enable/disable logging, import an already saved configuration, and much more. I have posted some screenshots of few tabs below.
This tool can also help prevent advertisements in the browser.
Download IE Controller (Used Google Translator to translate site from German to English)
It is a portable tool and works on all versions of Windows. Enjoy!
