Simple Window Hiding is a portable application that you can use to hide any open window. Just press and hold down CTRL+ALT keys and click the opened window. We have seen different methods to hide windows and this one is by far the most user friendly way to hide a window. The window is instantly hidden in the system tray and can be opened again via right-clicking the tray icon. The closest application to Simple Window Hiding is previously reviewed HideIt which hides the window by right-clicking the minimize button. Useful when you are doing something that you shouldn’t be doing!
To minimize a window to the system tray, just launch an instance of “Simple Window Hiding” and click on any window after holding down the CTRL+ALT keys.
To restore the window anytime, right-click on the system tray icon and select the minimized window’s name. At the moment, this application is in beta so some users may face bugs or functionality issues. For now, only one window can be hidden at a time. The developer has assured that future versions will support multi-window hiding.
