How To Erase/Delete/Remove Internet History, Cookies, And Cache From IE 7, Firefox 3, And Chrome

Do you open your web browser only to see it load slowly? Or you want to remove your History due to privacy concerns? If yes, then its time to act now. Removal of Internet History, Cookies and Cache allows the browser to start faster, improve its overall functioning speed, frees up disk space and not to forget your security and privacy. There are many ways to do this, but we have written down the most simplest and easiest way to do it. :)


                                      Erasing Internet History

To erase Internet History from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google chrome follow these simple steps.

Internet Explorer 7

Navigate to Tools > Internet Options, click the Delete button under Browsing History, on the next window click on Delete History.

Go to Tools > Clear Private Data, now in the dialog box tick the Browsing History check box and click Clear Private Data Now.

Google Chrome

First click the Customize and Control Google Chrome tab and select Clear browsing history and then tick the Browsing history check box and finally click on Clear Browsing Data button.

                                             Deleting Cookies

Cookies are used for authenticating, session tracking and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents of their electronic shopping carts. Because they can be used for tracking browsing behavior, cookies have been of concern for Internet privacy. To delete cookies, follow these simple steps.

 

Internet Explorer 7

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Tools > Internet Options, and click the Delete button under Browsing History. Now delete cookies by clicking Delete Cookies button.

Go to Tools > Clear Private Date, now in the dialog box tick the Cookies check box and click Clear Private Data Now button.

Google Chrome

First click the Customize and Control Google Chrome tab, then select Clear browsing history, now in the dialog box tick the Delete Cookies check box and click on Clear browsing data button.

                                       Removing Internet Cache

Web caching is the caching of web documents in order to reduce bandwidth usage, server load, and perceived lag. A web cache stores copies of documents passing through it; subsequent requests may be satisfied from the cache if certain conditions are met. To delete Internet cache files from your hard drive, follow these simple steps.

 

Internet Explorer 7

Navigate to Tools > Internet Options, click the Delete button under Browsing History, now on the next window click Delete Files.

Go to Tools > Clear Private Date, now in the dialog box tick the Cache check box and click Clear Private Data Now button.

Google Chrome

First click the Customize and Control Google Chrome tab, then select Clear browsing history and tick the Empty the Cache check box and finally click on Clear browsing data button.
