How To Restore The “Show Desktop” Shortcut Icon In Your Quick Launch Toolbar
Okay here is a quick tip for those who have lost their “Show Desktop” icon from the Quick Launch Toolbar. If you are like me who while experimenting lost this icon or the icon was deleted by mistake, then you are at the right place. I restored my “Show Desktop” icon with a simple windows trick and thought of sharing it with my readers.
Follow these simple steps to restore your “Show Desktop” icon in the Quick Launch Toolbar,
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
The Notepad might automatically append a .txt file extension to the file name. Remove this extension if present, now the file name should be only Show Desktop.scf as shown in the screenshot below,
Now simply drag this icon to the Quick Launch Toolbar and you are Done.
PS….This is the best and quickest way to add the icon. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask me.
