JumpLaunch – Quick Launch Programs From Windows 7 Jump List

Back In June we covered a great app called JumpList Launcher that allowed users to add programs and then launch them from the taskbar jump list. Some people complained that it was quite buggy and I agree. Luckily today I came across JumpLaunch, a newly released tool that does exactly what users want.

The usage is simple, you just need to pin the program to the taskbar, open it and drag all .lnk files(program shortcuts) to the main window to add it.

Once all desired applications are added, you can then close the program. Now right-click the JumpLaunch icon in the taskbar and it will show all the programs.

Even though it is a great app, I was still having difficulty testing it out on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Perhaps it is not compatible with 64-bit OS at the moment. You can give it a shot and let me know if it works fine with you.

Download JumpLaunch

It is a portable tool and works on Windows 7 only. Enjoy!

Regarding Windows 7 64bit: The program seems to crash sometimes on some configurations. At the moment I have no way of reproducing this issue. The program was created using Win 7 64bit. If anyone has more information please create an issue on Codeples

Would it be possible to stop the alphabetizing of the list?
I like this program a lot and it isnt buggy but id like more control like Jumplist Launcher. In that program I like the fact that I can categorize my list as well as put things in the order in which I want. Jumplaunch forgoes those features which is annoying. Is it possible to add those features soon?
