I am currently testing Mipony over Rapid Downloader. Apart from user interface and hjsplit intergration in mipony, there does not seem to be any differences at all.
We shall see in a few days how it stacks up against competition.

I use FreeRapid currently and it supports over 100 different file hosting sites. It's Java based so it's multi-platform. Mipony does look like a promising application. I have WinRAR on my system which can extract multi-part files except for a few 7zip archives and some I need to use HJSplit for. Most people use WinRAR to create the multi-part files you download anyway.

Nice alternative to Universal Download Manager (which does some stupid stuff lately, not really working too well for lots of services it's supposed to support).
