Most free image editing tools are made for a specific purpose. For instance, you will have to use one tool to convert the image format, another to correct its colors, while a third will be required to add a watermark to the image. The interface of the application is both good to look at and easy to navigate around. On the left side, Formats, Resize, Watermark, Rename, Corrections, Border and Crop tabs are available. Clicking a tab opens up its options in the middle, while the preview of applied effects appears towards the right side.
To add images to the application, just drag and drop them over the main interface. The Formats tab lets you convert the added images into JPEG, BMP, PNG, PDF, TGA, TOFF, GIF, PSD, PCX and ICO. Each format comes with its own advanced settings.
The Resize tab lets you resize the images, both according to size (pixels) and percentage, while the Watermark tab enables you to add Image as well as Text Watermarks to your photos. You can manipulate the alignment, size and opacity of the watermark from this same area.
In Rename, you can specify the rename criteria from a list; Border lets you add an outline to the images in different colors and sizes, while Crop allows you to crop the images, either manually, or using the available Crop Ratios. The Corrections tab enables you to adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Sharpen/ Blur parameters of all the added images in a batch operation.
